The identity solution was also to include four avatar characters that were namesakes of the four player positions. These characters would be designed in such a way as to engage the primary school audience as well as create the opportunity to become the tool with which to demonstrate the objectives and rules of the game.
Approach:
To create a logomark that encorporated both the ‘4’ and ‘square’ elements visually. This also lent itself to become a patterned motif when repeated. The creation of the 4_Square Squad was paired with their visual creation, as well as their backstory and characteristics and all with the aim to promote diversity and inclusion representation.
