Afrofuturism: A Gala Dinner

Charity Fundraising Event
Brief: To create a bespoke visual identity and suite of collateral for a fundraising gala dinner. The event was hosted by the Royal Institute of British Architects in aid of the Stephen Lawrence Charitable Trust, which works to support young people from disadvantaged and under-represented backgrounds enter into, and suceed within, the architecture profession.

Approach:
To create a distinct and dynamic identity that embodied an Afro-futuristic look and feel; taking both African traditional motifs and fusing them together with a collection of futuristic architectural and sci-fi graphic elements.

Delivered:
/1.  A curated collection of pattern that could be applied as a ‘kit of parts’. 
/2.  A bespoke collage ‘hero image’ and wordmark. 
/3.  A variety of print and digital assets for the live auction event. 
/4.  A variety of print and digital elements for event promotion.
