Editorial + Typography

Project work has ranged from Typographical lock ups, to the creation of bespoke typefaces, to a range of editorial digital and print material. Experience also includes a range of formast from journals to brochures to commercially printed books; all designed to varying print production formats and techniques from hard cover to perfect bound, die cut to blind embossed.


Typography: Bespoke lock up 


Project scope: Creation of a typographic lock up that symbolised a new company ethos for an advertising agency. Work included an accompanying brand refresh, website update and bespoke illustration series.  

Editorial: Architecural handbook 


Project scope: Proposals for a case study section for a commercially printed architectural handbook. Work included an accompanying series of bespoke architectural line drawing illustrations and modular diagrams.  

Editorial: Coffee table book 


Project scope: Coffee Table book detailing entire construction project of KPMG’s Mayfair Private Members Club; Number Twenty, commissioned by Overbury to present to the client upon project completion.

Typography: Bespoke font 


Project scope: Bespoke font created for use as the wayfinding and identity system for a new, MSC luxury cruise liner.  Iconography was also created to form a visual suite.

Editorial:  Marketing publication


Project scope: Architectural publication detailing HTA Design’s project experience in the modular manufactured housing market. Work included an accompanying series of bespoke architectural line drawing illustrations.

Editorial: Commemorative recipe book


Project scope: A commemorative recipe book celebrating 50 years of HTA Design’s company-wide practice of having lunch professionally prepared and eaten in-house. A selection of featured recipes were woven throughout 5 decades’ worth of the practice’s projects, places and people. Work included art direction, copywriting, artworking and food styling as well as collateral for the anniversary celebration event.
